Provide person-centered nursing care as a Casual Licensed Practical Nurse at AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, British Columbia. Support residents through clinical care, assessments, and treatment administration.
AgeCare seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse reporting to the Director of Care. You will provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care according to provincial standards. The work includes coordinating care plans, documentation, conferences, and resident transitions while supporting an inter-professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care using a person-centered approach
Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
Complete accurate clinical assessments, plans, and documentation
Evaluate care plans and communicate required changes
Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Requirements:
Practical Nurse Diploma
Current provincial registration and membership in good standing
Three or more years of seniors' health experience
Current CPR training
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Bring clinical assessment, medication administration, and leadership skills to resident-focused nursing care at AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews.
