Outside Technical Sales Rep - Hamilton, ON

This role is ideal for a technically minded, confident sales professional with a background in industrial, construction, automotive parts distribution, chemical, lubricant or technical sales.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop new business while growing existing customer relationships
Prospect, cold call and visit customers throughout Southern Ontario
Understand customers’ technical needs and recommend the right products
Sell automotive, concrete form release and specialty industrial lubricant products
Prepare quotes, proposals and tenders and close sales
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot product applications
Monitor market trends, competitors and new product developments
Stay current on evolving product science, technology and industry trends
WHAT YOU BRING
Sales experience, preferably in
industrial, lubricant, chemical or technical sales
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain technical information
A genuine interest in learning and staying current with industry developments
Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
What’s In It For You
$50K–$60K base salary + commission
$80K+ projected commission for a starting rep
$100K+ commission earning potential for established reps
