Food Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician

Monitor bakery quality and food safety programs as a Quality Assurance Technician, using inspections, documentation, and GMP knowledge daily.
This technician supports the Quality Assurance Manager across SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food safety programs. The work verifies production standards through operational inspections, critical control point monitoring, sanitation oversight, raw material checks, and finished-product evaluations. You will also support CAPA investigations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hygiene, operational, label, and product specification inspections
Monitor temperatures, metal detectors, weights, and measurement equipment
Supervise AM and PM sanitation teams and inspections
Audit raw materials, receiving documents, tags, and lot numbers
Report non-conformances and support CAPA follow-up
Requirements:
Knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Experience leading sanitation or production teams required
Food manufacturing, bakery, or quality assurance experience preferred
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
Flexibility for early mornings, nights, and weekends
