Fleet Safety Compliance Leader
Penske Logistics Canada Ltd.
Lead driver safety compliance at Penske Logistics in Woodstock, using coaching, audits, and accident investigation expertise. Support scheduled and occasional off-hour shifts.
This Safety Team Leader coaches and mentors location drivers toward an accident-free environment. The role monitors safety metrics, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports driver training. Responsibilities include Smith System programs, qualification files, inspections, and corrective plans. The position also coordinates accident response, facility reviews, orientations, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach drivers on safe performance and regulatory requirements
Monitor Smith System training and compliance metrics
Conduct audits, inspections, and mock MTO or DOT reviews
Investigate accidents and document required follow-up
Coordinate orientations, training plans, and weekly safety reviews
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
One-plus year Health and Safety or Operations Management experience
Knowledge of hazard assessment and accident investigation techniques
Knowledge of MTO and workplace health and safety regulations
Microsoft Office proficiency and rotating-shift availability
