Operate tandem and twin steer dump trucks for Atlantic Road Construction & Paving throughout HRM, using safe driving and equipment checks. This opportunity requires reliable Class 1 or 3 drivers.
Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Dump Truck Driver transports construction materials to and from job sites around HRM. The work supports mass excavation, drilling and blasting, underground utilities, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Drivers follow safety policies, communicate with crews, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Transport construction materials between HRM job sites
Inspect mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment before operation
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Follow crew signals and clean loading debris
Complete maintenance, reports, and required communications
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract
Three years of commercial driving experience preferred
Safe operation in all weather conditions
Reliable and punctual availability, including some Saturdays
Bring commercial driving experience, safe equipment operation, and dependable service to Atlantic Road Construction & Paving projects.
