Trades Helper Facility Maintenance Brandon

Support facility maintenance in Brandon as a Trades Helper, using manual tools, electrical tools, and small motorized equipment. This is regular, full-time work.
The Manitoba government’s Public Service Delivery branch is seeking a Trades Helper for Operations, Asset Management. Under general direction, you will support planned and unplanned maintenance across a designated portfolio. Work includes facility grounds, plumbing components, HVAC equipment, pumps, and architectural components. You will work independently and assist other staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Support planned maintenance programs across designated facilities
Assist with unplanned maintenance on facility grounds
Support plumbing, HVAC, pump, and architectural maintenance
Work independently under general direction
Assist other staff with maintenance activities
Requirements:
Experience with carpentry, plumbing, painting, or HVAC
Experience operating and maintaining small motorized equipment
Experience with facility operation and maintenance
Knowledge of manual and electrical tools
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and legal Canadian work entitlement
Bring trades experience, equipment skills, and facility maintenance knowledge to the Manitoba government’s Brandon operations.
