Analyze employee benefits and support due diligence as an intern with IMA in Denver, working four days onsite and one remotely. Gain direct exposure to private equity transactions and client-focused analysis.
This 2027 summer internship supports IMA’s Private Equity and M&A specialty practice. You will review benefits documentation, research compliance topics, and help develop analyses for mergers and acquisitions. The program combines cohort learning, networking sessions, and department-specific projects with real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist project managers throughout the due diligence process
Review medical, dental, vision, life, and disability documentation
Develop benefit comparisons, cost analyses, and compliance reviews
Research employee benefits, compliance, and market topics
Improve team resources, templates, and project workflows
Requirements:
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related program
Studying business, finance, accounting, risk management, or insurance
Expected graduation in Spring 2027, December 2027, or Spring 2028
Interest in insurance-related roles or insurance organizations
Professional services experience and critical problem-solving ability
