Full Time Deli Assistant Manager

Lead deli operations at Longo's as a Full Time Deli Assistant Department Manager, using coaching and customer service skills daily. Support store retail operations while helping prepare the department for each day.
In this leadership role, you will assist the Deli Manager with daily department readiness. You will mentor Team Members, manage inventory, merchandise products, and address Team Member and customer issues. The position requires deli product knowledge, communication, computer skills, and availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:

Motivate and mentor Team Members
Support regular team meetings
Coach and train Team Members for productivity
Handle Team Member and customer issues
Manage inventory, merchandising, and scheduling
Requirements:

Minimum one year of deli department experience
Solid understanding of deli product knowledge
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong computer skills and quick system learning
Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
