Addictions Counsellor RAAM Clinic

Provide evidence-based addiction care as an Addictions Counsellor with CMHA HPE in Picton, supporting clients through assessment and counselling.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this permanent full-time position serves the RAAM clinic within Clinical Services. You will work days, evenings, and weekends as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing low-barrier, integrated care. The position supports individuals with substance use concerns through client-centred interventions, treatment planning, and coordinated referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Screen and assess clients for appropriate interventions
Negotiate treatment goals and develop treatment plans
Provide case management and supportive counselling
Facilitate groups and conduct proactive outreach
Monitor withdrawal and coordinate appropriate care plans
Requirements:
Relevant health studies college diploma or university degree
Two years’ relevant addiction supportive counselling experience preferred
Knowledge of addictions assessment, counselling, groups, and referrals
Advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access
Bring addiction counselling, assessment, outreach, and clinical decision-making skills to integrated RAAM services at CMHA HPE.
