Bring CT imaging expertise to Nova Scotia Health’s Eastern Zone, positioning patients and producing high-quality images at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Shift work is required.
This permanent full-time CT Technologist position reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager within OPEZ DI CT Scan CBR. You will operate CT scanners, perform computed tomography examinations, and support exceptional patient care. The role requires safe equipment practices, radiation protection, communication, and collaboration as a healthcare team member. Travel to other sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanners safely and professionally
Perform computed tomography examinations efficiently
Position patients for high-quality diagnostic images
Use contrast injector after intravenous training
Perform related clerical duties for customers
Requirements:

Accredited Radiological Technology program graduation
Current CAMRT certification and NSRMIRT licensure
High mental, visual, and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and within healthcare teams
French or other language competencies are assets
Support safe CT examinations and exceptional patient care through strong technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
