Walmart Pharmacy Assistant Victoria

Support prescription filling and patient care at Walmart in Victoria, British Columbia, using pharmacy software and accuracy checks. This position is based at 3460 Saanich Road.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you assist the Pharmacist with technical prescription filling and administrative duties. You receive prescriptions, assess required information, process computer functions, and prepare products under supervision. You also support inventory control, housekeeping, clerical organization, and over-the-counter operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive prescriptions and assess completeness under provincial requirements
Enter patient information, prices, refills, and prescription data
Fill prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision and complete accuracy checks
Maintain inventory, process orders, and remove expired medications
Support housekeeping, filing, cashier duties, and OTC ordering
Requirements:
Minimum age of 16 years
Ability to interpret written prescriptions and Latin abbreviations
Ability to recognize drug names and calculate dosages
Ability to follow provincial legal and regulatory conditions
Ability to work under Pharmacist supervision
Build pharmacy operations experience through prescription processing, inventory control, administrative support, and customer service at Walmart.
