Operate power brakes and metalworking machinery at MT Concept inc. in a full-time, day-shift position requiring French. Work onsite at the physical location.
This permanent Power Brake Operator position requires a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and one to less than two years of experience. You will shape metal stock into parts, operate presses or forging machines, and interpret specifications or verbal instructions. The work includes checking dimensions, maintaining equipment, and addressing minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate light or heavy metalworking machines
Shape metal stock into parts or products
Operate presses for hot or cold forging
Check products for shapes, dimensions, and specifications
Clean, lubricate, and make minor machinery repairs
Requirements:
Registered Apprenticeship certificate
One year to less than two years of experience
French language ability
Ability to handle heavy loads
Organized approach and collaborative working style
Bring power brake operation, metal forming, equipment care, and specification reading to MT Concept inc. during the day shift.
