Health Services Laboratory Supervisor
Dynacare
Support Dynacare health services in Peterborough, Ontario, through leadership, patient care, and laboratory collection expertise. The assignment is full-time and contract.
This Team Lead position reports to the Regional Manager of Health Services and oversees assigned location operations. You coach employees, support workflow improvements, maintain inspection readiness, and provide courteous service to clients and patients. You will also collect blood samples and other specimens as a Laboratory Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership across assigned health services sites
Recommend productivity and continuous improvement changes
Gather employee feedback and support development evaluations
Ensure locations remain ready for audits and inspections
Support neighbouring sites when required
Requirements:
Three to five years related laboratory experience
Medical Laboratory Assistant or Technician Diploma
Working knowledge of laboratory best practices
Excellent English and/or French communication where applicable
Demonstrated leadership and respectful communication skills
Bring laboratory leadership, workflow improvement, and collection capabilities to Dynacare’s health services operations in Peterborough.
