French English Debt Recovery Specialist

Support repayment solutions through bilingual communication and negotiation at Northlake Financial’s Barrie, Ontario office. This position is not remote or hybrid.
As a Collections Agent, you will contact past-due customers, evaluate account risk, and guide repayment conversations. The role serves Northlake Financial’s automotive finance business and requires accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and independent judgment. Customer service remains central.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate approved contact with past-due customers
Develop customized repayment solutions for delinquent accounts
Evaluate risks and escalate accounts when appropriate
Apply policies and procedures to payment recovery
Meet collection targets, metrics, and individual goals
Requirements:
Written and verbal French and English bilingual ability
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and effectively within teams
Comfort with performance-driven collection environments
Previous collections, customer service, or financial services experience preferred
Apply bilingual negotiation, risk evaluation, and compliant recovery practices while supporting Northlake Financial customers with repayment.
