Support dental procedures with radiography and sterilization expertise as a Certified Dental Assistant in a Canadian dental practice. Help patients receive safe, attentive care.
This Certified Dental Assistant supports dentists during treatments and contributes to smooth dental office operations. Daily work includes preparing treatment rooms, operating suction devices, managing records, and following infection control standards. Patient education and administrative support are also central.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures
Assist dentists with instruments, suction, and patient comfort
Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
Maintain detailed treatment notes and medical histories
Educate patients about oral hygiene and post-operative care
Requirements:
Canadian provincial Dental Assistant certification
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards
Legal authorization to work in Canada
