School Age Educator London
YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area
Plan child-centered programs for children ages 4–12 as a School Age Educator with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario in London.
This position supports licensed school age programs across multiple London locations. You will provide safe, quality care while maintaining supervision and fostering inclusive environments. The role follows the school calendar, with schedules up to 25 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan engaging programs for children ages 4–12
Provide safe, quality care to children and families
Maintain supervision and ensure child safety
Follow YMCA policies and CCEYA requirements
Foster welcoming environments where every child belongs
Requirements:
Experience working with children ages 4–12
Enrollment or completion in Early Childhood Education
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Current Vulnerable Sector Check within six months
Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms
Bring child-focused care, inclusive programming, and dependable supervision to YMCA school age programs throughout London, Ontario.
