Night Caretaker Class I Team Leader
New Frontiers School Board / Commission scolaire New Frontiers
Lead evening maintenance at a New Frontiers School Board educational building, overseeing upkeep, safety, and team work from Monday to Friday.
As a Night Caretaker Class I, you organize, execute, and supervise maintenance, preventive upkeep, and physical upkeep. You work according to instructions while the caretaker, foreman, or school principal is absent. The assignment covers an area equal to or greater than 9 275 m2.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise the maintenance team’s assigned work
Ensure cleanliness and keep equipment in good condition
Inspect lighting, heating, ventilation, and alarm systems
Complete minor repairs and report detected breakdowns
Maintain security against fire and theft
Requirements:
Three years of pertinent experience
Working knowledge of both official languages
Car and valid driver’s license
General knowledge of building systems’ operation
Basic knowledge of main building trades
Bring maintenance leadership, building systems knowledge, and dependable evening oversight to the New Frontiers School Board.
