This Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overall store operation. The work includes developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing merchandising and inventory control. Candidates need prior retail or management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong Guest Services
Support the Store Manager with store operations
Develop staff to support sales and profitability
Control expenses and shrinkage according to policies
Manage merchandising and inventory control activities
Requirements:
Prior retail or management experience required
Minimum age requirement of 18
Ability to stand and walk beyond eight hours
Ability to climb ladders during work
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Bring retail leadership, Guest Services, and inventory control experience to Spencer Gifts – Spirit Halloween store operations.
