As a hospitalist at RIH, you will care for acute illness, chronic disease, complex geriatric conditions, and trauma. The regional tertiary referral centre serves the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap and diverse communities. Experienced colleagues, mentorship, onboarding, and professional development support your practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage acute, chronic, geriatric, and trauma-related conditions
Provide care for patients across the lifespan
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences
Teach residents, clerks, and visiting medical students
Deliver compassionate care within a hospitalist practice
Requirements:
Hospitalist practice focused on clinical excellence
Commitment to collaboration and compassionate patient care
Availability for the described full-time scheduling model
Interest in lifelong learning and academic involvement
Willingness to participate in professional development
