FCC Construction seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator for industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects. You will prepare tenders, bid requests, requests for quotation, and requests for proposal. The work combines electrical systems knowledge, detailed cost estimating, risk assessment, and stakeholder collaboration to support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents
Develop material, labour, equipment, and subcontract take-offs
Prepare competitive electrical construction project estimates
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
Review estimates with project managers and site supervisors
Requirements:
Electrical trade certification, engineering technology diploma, degree, or equivalent experience
Electrical construction estimating experience in relevant environments
Understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Bring electrical estimating, risk assessment, and communication skills to FCC Construction’s complex Atlantic Canadian project bids.
