Resident Care Aide AgeCare

Support AgeCare residents with feeding, mobility, and personal care as a casual Health Care Aide at 77 Jamieson Court.
As a member of the care team, you will collaborate on resident care under Staff Nurse supervision. Your work includes following care plans, supporting appropriate diets, using mechanical aids, and providing routine treatments. You will also help residents access meals, personal services, therapy, recreation, and social functions within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed or assist residents during meals and nourishment times
Follow care plans for each resident’s appropriate diet
Move residents with walkers, wheelchairs, and positioning chairs
Apply skin creams and bowel protocols as directed
Accompany residents to beauty, therapy, and recreation services
Requirements:
Completion of recognized PCA or HCA certificate course
Active registration with the CLHA
Fluent written and spoken English
Continuing care or related experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
Use care planning, mobility assistance, and resident support skills to deliver safe services within AgeCare’s New Westminster facility.
