Self Employed Residential Carpenter

Build residential projects with Handyman Connection using carpentry, remodeling, and customer service skills across Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge.
This self employed Carpenter supports a locally owned home improvement company established in 1999. The work includes constructing, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard structures. You will assess requests, identify materials, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and explain work orders.
Key Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures
Determine materials and quantities for each project
Evaluate customer requests and price projects
Troubleshoot customer issues and present work orders
Complete residential remodeling and home repair work
Requirements:

Experience in remodeling or home repair trades
Current driver's license and background check submission
Own tools, vehicle, and good references
Pass the required screening process
Carry liability insurance and workers compensation, preferred
Apply residential carpentry expertise to local remodeling projects requiring construction, repairs, material planning, and customer communication.
