Dietary Aide Patient Food Services

Food service experience and Food Handler certification support patient meals as a Dietary Aide at Lakeridge Health Whitby. This is regular part time.
The Dietary Aide works in Patient Food Services within Lakeridge Health’s Food Services program. The position supports patient safety and well-being through meal delivery, food assembly, sanitation, and service. Effective communication, customer service, and teamwork are important.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and pick up meals and nourishment
Assemble food according to service requirements
Wash dishes and related food service items
Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
Store supplies using established procedures
Requirements:

Food Handler training and certification
Previous food preparation or food service experience
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Apply food preparation, sanitation, communication, and teamwork skills as a Dietary Aide supporting patients at Lakeridge Health Whitby.
