Family Practice Nurse LPN Primary Care
Sherwood Park Primary Care Network
Deliver primary care as an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse in Edmonton, supporting family medicine patients through clinical care and education. This temporary part-time position runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Sherwood Park-Strathcona County Primary Care Network seeks an LPN for a family medicine clinic. You will work with physicians and an interdisciplinary team on care plans and follow-up. Key practice areas include chronic disease support, preventative screening, health education, and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care within LPN scope
Administer immunizations and injections
Perform wound care and dressing changes
Provide diabetes education and prenatal support
Coordinate referrals and document electronic medical records
Requirements:
Licensed with CLPNA in good standing
Current Basic Life Support certification
Minimum three years of nursing experience
Evidence-based nursing practice understanding
Current criminal and vulnerable sector checks
Bring clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and primary care experience to SPPCN’s collaborative Edmonton family medicine team.
