Employment Services Consultant SOAR

Help clients pursue employment through SOAR Community Services, providing service plans, workshops, and individual advocacy. This part time Brantford position supports job seekers and employers within the Employment Services Team.
As an Employment Consultant, you will develop employment opportunities and monitor client employment retention for 365 days. The position includes needs assessment, case management, reporting, instruction, workshops, and collaboration with local providers and employers. Hours are 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends based on program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop employment opportunities for clients
Create Service Plans and complete reporting requirements
Facilitate workshops and provide individual instruction
Advocate for clients and support employment goals
Monitor employment retention for 365 days
Requirements:
College Diploma in Human, Social Services, or Business
Minimum one year of experience in a related field
Career Practitioner or Job Development certificate is an asset
Familiarity with databases and proficiency in MS Office
Reliable transportation for possible travel
Use service planning, client advocacy, and employment development skills as an Employment Consultant with SOAR.
