Within Nova Scotia Health’s FMS Laundry VRH department, this Laundry Worker processes soiled and clean laundry and linen products. The position focuses on safe equipment operation, continuous processing, and appropriate quantities. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure continuous processing of soiled laundry products
Ensure continuous processing of clean linen products
Operate equipment according to department requirements
Deliver clean products in appropriate quantities
Perform duties professionally under department policies
Requirements:

Grade 12, GED, or equivalent work experience required
Good knowledge of infection control guidelines
Industrial laundry infection control knowledge
Completion of WHMS training
Availability for varied shifts and holidays
