Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Support children’s development onsite as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant using storytelling, creative activities, and childcare program support.
This position requires English, early childhood education training, and one to less than two years of experience. You will assist educators, support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, and help maintain a safe childcare environment. The role includes school-age programming before and after regular school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist educators with child-care programs and developmental activities
Lead stories, songs, crafts, and local outings
Guide eating, dressing, and toilet habits
Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for rest
Maintain equipment, records, and collaborative relationships
Requirements:
College, CEGEP, or certificate training under one year
One to less than two years of experience
Emergency child care first aid and CPR
Criminal record check and own transportation
English, punctuality, reliability, and sound judgement
