Mobile Court Security Officer
OCS
Protect court and tribunal sites around Mayors and City London Court using access control, CCTV, and responsive incident management. Work daytime shifts across multiple locations.
As an Area Relief Officer with OCS UK & Ireland, you will maintain safe, secure, and welcoming environments across court and tribunal sites. You will support operational needs within a defined area, delivering professional customer service to court users. The role includes security procedures, screening equipment, patrols, searches, and accurate reporting. You will work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with varying daytime shifts and no night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Support multiple sites within a defined operational area
Control building access and follow security procedures
Operate CCTV, x-ray machines, and metal detectors
Patrol public and restricted areas
Respond to alarms, incidents, and security concerns
Requirements:
Valid SIA Licence and relevant security experience
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Right to Work and enhanced DBS clearance
Ability to pass BS7858 security clearance
Strong communication and customer service skills
Use security expertise, professionalism, and calm incident response to support safe court operations across OCS UK & Ireland sites.
