Manufacturing Process Engineer contract in Ottawa, fully onsite, focused on process validation, GMP compliance, and production optimization within nuclear medicine.
Actalent seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer supporting development, implementation, and improvement in a highly regulated environment. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams. The work supports safe, compliant, efficient, and production-ready processes for nuclear medicine technologies and healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production workflows
Lead process validation and continuous improvement initiatives
Create drawings, BOMs, specifications, and detailed work instructions
Perform PFMEA, risk assessments, and root cause investigations
Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and optimization
Requirements:
At least five years of mechanical manufacturing or process engineering experience
Experience in production within a highly regulated environment
Hands-on process validation planning, execution, documentation, and analysis
Experience troubleshooting equipment, tooling, fixtures, and mechanical processes
Understanding of quality systems, GMP, and regulatory compliance
