School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) seeks Casual Bus Drivers to operate school buses on regular and scheduled routes. The work includes curricular and extra-curricular trips, daily inspections, preventative maintenance checks, and communication with students, parents, and school staff. Applicants need required licensing, safety training, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate school buses on regular and scheduled routes
Transport students for curricular and extra-curricular trips
Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks
Maintain positive communication with students and parents
Communicate positively with school staff
Requirements:
Complete Grade 12 or hold a Dogwood Certificate
Hold a valid BC Class 2 License with air brakes
Maintain a clean driving record
Hold valid First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS 2015 certificates
Have six months’ successful Class 2 vehicle experience
Support safe student transportation through dependable bus operation, inspections, communication, and seasonal Class 2 driving experience.
