Support resident meals at Dover Cliffs LTC in Port Dover as a Dietary Aide handling food preparation, service, and kitchen cleaning.
Southbridge Care Homes seeks a Dietary Aide for a casual vacancy reporting to the Food Service Manager. You will support meal setup, preparation, serving, and cleaning while following resident diet orders, food safety practices, and applicable protocols. The schedule includes 9:00am to 5:00pm and 12:00pm to 8:00pm shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle, store, and label food safely
Assist cooks with basic food preparation
Follow food service guidelines and protocols
Serve meals according to resident diet orders
Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas
Requirements:
Enroll in or complete a College Food Service Worker Program
Hold a current Safe Food Handling Certificate
Demonstrate caring service for long-term care residents
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Provide a vulnerable sector check and required TB documentation
Bring safe food handling, resident-focused service, and meal support skills to Dover Cliffs LTC in Port Dover.
