The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Health Care Aide for its Acute Care department. Working under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse direction, you will assist with personal needs and activities of daily living. The position requires effective nursing process support within established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal needs and daily living activities
Work under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse direction
Apply established policies and procedures during care duties
Function effectively in demanding health care environments
Support assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes
Requirements:
Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Knowledge of safe patient handling techniques
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Satisfactory required security and employment checks
