Private Residence House Assistant

Bring detailed housekeeping and laundry expertise to a private residence in Victoria, British Columbia. This full-time, live-out position supports a large household.
The experienced House Assistant works closely with the Household Manager to maintain daily readiness across the main residence, guest suites, and additional properties. Responsibilities include fine fabric care, wardrobe organization, inventory tracking, property inspections, and delicate surface care. The schedule generally runs Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 6pm, with flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed housekeeping for residences and guest suites
Prepare spaces for visitors and anticipate guest needs
Handle ironing, pressing, steaming, folding, and stain removal
Track household inventories and communicate replenishment needs
Inspect property conditions and report maintenance requirements
Requirements:
Experience in residential and hospitality environments
Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
Detail-oriented, discreet, and professional communication
Comfort lifting 30 pounds
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
Support exceptional household care through precise housekeeping, fine laundry, discretion, and dependable coordination in Victoria.
