This co-op student role supports analysis that feeds Interpro's Enterprise Business System and continuous improvement process. You will study cycle times, constraints, and waste across tubular lines. Your work will help define funded improvement projects for operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze bottlenecks across tubular production lines
Measure waste and estimate its annual impact
Create current-state value stream maps for each line
Enter improvement opportunities into the Enterprise Business System
Present findings to operations leadership
Requirements:

Engineering or engineering technology co-op enrollment
At least second year completed in a related program
Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups
Working knowledge of statistics, variation, and distributions
Comfort working in PPE around heavy industrial equipment
Apply engineering analysis, Excel, statistics, and shop-floor observation to improve throughput at Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc.
