Evening Registered Practical Nurse
Sienna Senior Living
Provide nursing care at Granite Ridge – Stittsville as an Evening Registered Practical Nurse, using sound judgement and resident-focused communication. This temporary full-time assignment offers 75 hours bi-weekly.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse supports residents within Sienna Senior Living communities. You will follow physician’s orders, resident care plans, established policies, and your RPN/LPN scope. The position includes admissions, assessments, supervision, and family communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing and personal care according to established policies
Follow physician’s orders and resident plans of care
Assess residents during admissions, readmissions, and status changes
Communicate regularly with residents and their families
Supervise assigned Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
Good judgement and ability to identify risk
Ability to foster a positive work environment
Geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health experience is an asset
Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
Support resident dignity and comfort through nursing care, assessment, communication, and team supervision at Granite Ridge – Stittsville.
