The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Health Care Aide for its clinical support team. Working under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse direction, you will assist with personal needs and daily living activities. The position requires communication, organization, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients, patients, and residents with personal needs
Support activities of daily living and resident care
Work under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse direction
Apply established policies and procedures consistently
Use assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes
Requirements:
Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institute
Current BCLS certification, excluding Personal Care Home
Knowledge of safe patient handling techniques
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to communicate clearly and respect confidentiality
Bring compassionate personal care, teamwork, and safe handling knowledge to Health Care Aide services at Goodwin Lodge.
