Serve Meridian Members in Orillia using consultative financial advice, transactional banking, and relationship-building skills. This in-office branch role supports day-to-day banking.
As a Financial Services Representative, you will understand Member needs and recommend suitable products and services. You will complete transactions, open accounts, offer credit, identify wealth referrals, and support financial well-being. Strong communication, financial industry knowledge, and Member Experience focus are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete accurate front-line transactions for daily banking needs
Open Member accounts and promote suitable financial solutions
Provide investment advice and credit recommendations within approval limits
Refer opportunities to Wealth, Small Business, and Mobile Mortgage partners
Participate in branch and community engagement activities
Requirements:
Strong business acumen and financial industry knowledge
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Strong computer systems knowledge and virtual technology comfort
Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Post-secondary education or equivalent financial services sales experience is an asset
Bring consultative advice, accurate transactions, and Member-focused relationship skills to Meridian’s Orillia branch team.
