Keep construction rentals rent-ready in Dartmouth through equipment inspections, detailing, and safe yard coordination. Work onsite in a physically active, hands-on environment.
Cooper Equipment Rentals is hiring a full-time Yard Coordinator at 590 Windmill Road. This hands-on position supports branch operations by checking returned equipment, identifying service needs, and preparing machines for customers. You will coordinate with drivers, mechanics, rental coordinators, and other branch teammates.
Key Responsibilities:
Check general equipment condition and complete required inspections
Complete service tags for visible damage or maintenance concerns
Safely operate forklifts and construction equipment as required
Assist with fueling, tire storage, and equipment movement
Communicate equipment status and service needs to teammates
Requirements:
Valid Class 5 license with no more than three demerit points
Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning equipment operation
Ability to stand extensively and lift approximately 50 pounds
Strong communication, attention to detail, and organization
Customer-service mindset and professional approach
