Monitor airport baggage systems with Equans, focusing on quality control, timely processing, and baggage jam response. Maintain system performance during peak demand periods.
The Bag Runner supports baggage system operations for Equans Services Canada, part of the Equans group. Responsibilities include contingency process management, system monitoring, hardware inspection, and light maintenance. The position requires accurate reporting and escalation of degraded issues or maintenance needs. It also supports efficient handling of expected peak demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality control and timely baggage system processing
Manage baggage jams and contingency processes
Monitor system performance during peak demand
Inspect hardware, clean equipment, and perform light maintenance
Complete shift reports, incident reports, logs, and registers
Requirements:
High School Diploma and valid Driver's License
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work under stress during emergencies
Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted
Transport Canada security clearance eligibility
