Senior Accountant Client Engagements

Lead client teams and review complete financial files as a Senior Accountant with Doane Grant Thornton in Markham. The office model requires four days together weekly.
The Privately Held Business Group offers varied accounting and tax work with deeper involvement in client financials and operations. You will lead engagements, review corporate and personal returns, and oversee NTRs and compilations. Coaching, performance management, and training are central to developing accounting team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead teams and ensure client expectations are exceeded
Review corporate and personal income tax returns
Review NTRs, compilations, and engagement files
Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews
Deliver training to develop team members
Requirements:
CPA designation is a strong asset
Three or more years in public accounting or related industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong multi-team management and supervision skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and organized approach
