Experiential Learning Placement Coordinator
Medicine Hat College
Coordinate experiential learning and student placements at Medicine Hat College, supporting program areas, Student Placement Officers, and diverse stakeholders.
This full-time, regular Coordinator position reports to the Director, Teaching & Learning. You will provide direct placement support within assigned programs while overseeing placement processes. The work also includes managing staff, developing partnerships, and improving learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a Student Placement Officer portfolio within assigned program areas
Provide direct support for student placement activities
Coordinate Work-Integrated Learning initiatives and placement processes
Support employee development through demonstrated leadership
Foster employer and community organization relationships
Requirements:
Three to five years’ experience in post-secondary education or related fields
Experience coordinating experiential learning initiatives
Experience managing partnerships and staff
Education in Business, education, Social Sciences, or related field
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders effectively
Use placement coordination, experiential learning, and relationship-building skills to support students and programs at Medicine Hat College.
