As an OTR Tire Technician, you will service customer equipment and assist mine maintenance staff as required. Your work includes tire fitting, wheel installation, repairs, inspections, equipment checks, and reporting. Safety procedures, maintenance standards, and site requirements guide daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Mount and demount tires and rim assemblies
Install and remove wheels from mining vehicles
Repair tires and tubes efficiently
Inspect wheel components for continued service
Respond to directed after-hours call-outs
Requirements:

At least two years of related experience preferred
OTR service training or Tire Fitter Levels 1 and 2 preferred
Experience operating tire manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and mine-site credentials eligibility
Bring tire fitting, mechanical ability, and safety-focused service to Kal Tire’s Valentine Gold Mine operations.
