St Josephs Hospital - SHA is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic reporting to the EMS Manager. This full-time regular assignment responds to emergency and non-emergent service calls for ill or injured persons. Responsibilities include initial assessment, treatment, and transport, with schedules covering days, nights, evenings, weekends, and standby. The position requires ACP education, Saskatchewan College of Paramedics registration or eligibility, and specified life-support and trauma certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer emergency and non-emergent service calls
Assess ill or injured persons initially
Provide treatment during patient care
Transport patients requiring medical assistance
Report to the EMS Manager
Requirements:
Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma
Valid Class 4 driver's license
PALS and ITLS Advanced certificates
ACLS and BLS certificates
Strong interpersonal and independent working abilities
