Construction Materials Stock Controller

Bring accurate inventory management and construction materials knowledge to a Stores Person role based with an established company in Peterborough. Site travel is included.
The Stores Person controls stock, materials, tools, equipment, and consumables for construction operations. This role focuses on stock rotation, inventory accuracy, delivery recording, and issuing resources to site personnel. You will also identify shortages, report damaged stock, and support materials planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement effective stock control procedures
Carry out regular stock checks and stocktakes
Monitor levels and report shortages to management
Follow stock rotation practices to minimise waste
Assist teams sourcing project materials
Requirements:

Experience managing construction materials or warehouse stock
Knowledge of stock control and inventory systems
Experience with materials handling procedures
Attention to detail and accurate records
Basic computer literacy for stock management
Apply inventory discipline, construction product knowledge, and detailed records to keep materials controlled and available for operational teams.
