Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group instructional programs
Develop Individual Education Plans and assessments
Adapt curriculum, methods, and learning materials
Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders
Manage classrooms using behavioural techniques
Requirements:
Ontario College of Teachers certification and good standing
Appropriate subject and division qualifications
Blind or low vision teaching experience
Proficient braille and communication skills
Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Bring specialized teaching, braille, curriculum adaptation, and classroom management skills to students at W. Ross Macdonald School.
