This permanent casual Security Officer position supports safety across Georgian Bay General Hospital. The work includes access control, emergency response, hospital patrols, and customer service. You will also coordinate with OPP, EMS, FIRE, CNCC, Waypoint, and funeral homes.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor hospital grounds and patrol inpatient areas
Control access and respond to emergencies
Safeguard hospital assets and property
Provide guidance and supportive service to patients and visitors
Process and manage the morgue with funeral homes
Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security License and current First Aid/CPR certification
College diploma, university degree, or equivalent security certification
Valid Ontario G license or reliable transportation
Security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong communication, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
