Home Centre Sales and Merchandising Clerk

Build compelling product displays and support sales transactions as a Home Centre Clerk in Heritage Co-op’s Minnedosa, Manitoba department.
Working in Home & Building Solutions, this clerk helps maintain merchandising standards while supporting customers and daily operations. Responsibilities include stocking, signage, pricing, promotions, inventory counts, and point-of-sale accuracy. The position supports sales goals and a World Class Customer Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain displays, signage, pricing, and shelf presentation
Monitor inventory levels and assist with counts
Rotate stock and support inventory accuracy
Operate point-of-sale systems and balance cash tills
Assist with seasonal displays and promotional setups
Requirements:
Previous merchandising or Home Centre experience considered an asset
Point-of-sale and cash register experience preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team
Attention to detail in pricing, merchandising, and transactions
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
