Level 1 School Bus Driver Trainer

Coach safer school bus drivers as a Level 1 Driver Trainer with First Student in Georgetown, Ontario, on a part-time schedule.
This position suits an experienced school bus driver who demonstrates safety leadership, flexibility, and strong communication. You will train experienced and existing drivers through classroom, skills, and on-road instruction. The work supports driver development, candidate onboarding, regulatory compliance, and confident performance at the location.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver classroom, skills, and on-road driver training
Provide refresher, remedial, and upgrade instruction
Coach drivers on safe practices and compliance
Evaluate performance and maintain training records
Develop targeted plans for identified performance gaps
Requirements:

Valid Class B licence or higher with endorsements
At least three years of school bus or commercial driving
Clean driver abstract meeting stated three-year requirements
Strong communication, mentoring, and coaching abilities
Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence and dependable attendance
