Emergency Warming Centre Supervisor

Supervise Emergency Warming Centre operations for City of Burnaby employees, applying staff leadership and administrative skills in a diverse environment.
This supervisor helps manage a welcoming Warming Centre and its daily operation. Responsibilities include supervising staff, completing minor budget work, maintaining adequate supplies, and handling administrative duties. Knowledge of standard operating procedures, staff orientation, and client orientation is paramount. Experience with disadvantaged and potentially challenging people is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Help manage smooth Emergency Warming Centre operations
Supervise staff working at the Warming Centre
Complete minor budget work and administrative duties
Ensure adequate supplies are available
Support staff and client orientation procedures
Requirements:
Experience supervising staff in a diverse environment
Experience working with disadvantaged, potentially challenging people
Related diploma and emergency shelter experience
First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C certificates
Valid BC Drivers Licence
Bring supervisory experience, operational knowledge, and welcoming service to the City of Burnaby Emergency Warming Centre.
