Health Care Aide Diagnostic Imaging

Apply Health Care Aide expertise within Shared Health’s diagnostic imaging service, supporting safe transfers and clear patient communication in person.
This Clinical Support position is based at Shared Health - Selkirk & District General Hospital. The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant role requires recent relevant experience, preferably in a Diagnostic Imaging environment, plus current BCLS certification. Daily work combines patient transfers, physical activity, courteous cooperation, and independent priority decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Transfer patients to and from diagnostic imaging equipment safely
Use safe techniques with wheelchairs, Geri chairs, and stretchers
Maintain effective oral and written communication during daily activities
Work independently while planning and prioritizing assigned activities
Meet service needs through flexible hours or overtime
Requirements:
Recognized certified Health Care Aide certificate required
Minimum one to two years recent relevant experience
Diagnostic Imaging experience preferred
Current BCLS certification required and maintained
Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transfers
Use your certified Health Care Aide background, BCLS, and communication skills supporting patients through diagnostic imaging services.
